Looking for some Halloween fun up north? This week we’re going to give you some ghastly events to hit while you’re in Minnesota.
Over 5,000 expertly-carved pumpkins light up along a quarter-mile trail through the forests of the Minnesota Zoo just south of the Twin Cities. Music, magic and other surprises abound as you weave your way through a mystical forest. Tickets start at $12, and the entire family will love the alternative to the typical “haunted house.” Get your tickets by clicking here, as they tend to sell out quickly.
The “Halloween Capital of the World” doesn’t hold back for this fall holiday. Fireworks, parades, concerts and celebrity appearances abound at this destination north of the Twin Cities. The entire town of Anoka gets involved in the fun, and the family will have a blast with all the events around the city.
Duluthians (I hope that’s right) celebrate Halloween like no other. If you’ve never been, it’s a Sleepy Hollow-type of town in the fall, which makes for perfect spooky festivities. There are haunted mansions occupied by deceased shipping magnates, hayrides through cornfields where you’ll never know what’s lurking around the corner and scary movies playing at the local theater.
Whether it’s Scream Townin Chaska, Molitor’s Haunted Acresin Sauk Rapids or the Fright Farmin Maplewood, haunted houses and trail rides abound across Minnesota. The state is a perfect setting for Halloween fun.
If you’re in Minnesota this Halloween, we hope you will have a spooktacular good time!
