Tubing on the St. Croix in 2019

We don’t know about you, but once the middle of January hits, we start looking forward to summertime, and one of our favorite parts of summer is cruising the beautiful St. Croix River.  At our St. Croix River Resort you and your family can enjoy tubing and canoeing down one of the most scenic and float-friendly rivers in the U.S. There’s no better way to spend a hot and hazy summer day than floating the time away on this gorgeous river. Here’s a little information so you can plan your next tubing adventure:

Innertube float rentals are available in July & August, weather permitting.

-        You must sign up in the store ahead of time.

-        The Resort provides a shuttle service to and from the St. Croix. The trip takes approximately 1.5 – 2 hours. The river has a very sandy bottom and is only 2-6 feet deep. A fun trip for all ages. Lifejackets are available for everyone but are required for children 13 and under.

-        No glass on the river – bare feet and glass don’t mix, as they say.

-        Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

A canoe shuttle runs May through October, depending on river conditions.

-        You must sign up in the store ahead of time.

-        The van leaves at 11am.

-        The trip includes paddles and life jackets

-        It is a 14-mile trip, around 4-5 hours, from Riverside to Lower Tamarack landing.

      Pricing is as follows:

             Innertubes:$5 per person/HPM

             Cooler Tube:$2/HPM (5 Person Minimum)

             Canoe:$25/HPM Per Canoe
